Hi, I’m Bri! (she/her) I’m a long time multi-creative and visual designer based in Milwaukee, WI.
As a kid, I found a love of storytelling through writing and photography, and I later studied English & Creative Writing at Cleveland State University, where I completed my B.A.
A few years ago, I started building and designing houses in the Sims 4, which is where I fell in love with visual design. That led me to digital illustration, and eventually, studying Graphic Design at Milwaukee Area Technical College.
In addition to design, I have 15 years of experience in customer support across various industries.
Outside of design, I’m usually spending time with loved ones, including my cats Cowboy (orange) and Piper (tabby), or going on walks and bike rides. And obviously playing the Sims.
While designing my visuals, I wanted to create a focal point with the dot of the i in my name.
I took the shape of the o to use as the dot outline, then played around in Illustrator with shapes, seeing where I’d find my way.
After making some tweaks and edits, I started seeing different objects, first a gear and then a flower.
When I zoomed out, I saw an eye staring back.
I like the versatility and all it represents – function and beauty all in one, through my eyes.
So this is my designer’s eye. And whatever you see may see through yours!
